Unsatisfied

We want a special someone, but as soon as we have them, they won’t be nearly as satisfying as we thought they would be.  Romance has to be maintained.  Honestly, if you truly found someone you are compatible with, the relationship would require no effort at all, but relationships are a lot of work.  It is very rare to find strong and true compatibility.  Most of the time, you are simply not right for the person who is perfect for you.

Get over it.

Love is truly the most overrated thing in our culture.  All those cheesy movies and books are lying to you.  Love is NOT the key to happiness.  Happiness does not come in one big box and love does not open what isn’t there.  Happiness is spread all around in these little pockets and moments.  Happiness is stumbled upon and you can’t find it by looking for it.  Looking for happiness is the same as looking for unsatisfaction.  As soon as you get what you were looking for, it’s not nearly as satisfying as you wanted it to be.  You shouldn’t be sad because you have to move on.
